Terror and Impeachment

I know I must be missing something. I just can't figure out why it is never mentioned that when Clinton bombed Bin Laden they compared it to the movie 'Wag the Dog'. Also when Freeh could have chasing terrorists he was too busy trying to please certain congressmen who wanted him investigating the president. Why is this never recalled? Is it considered embarassing for both sides? I just don't get it. It seems important to me. Maybe I'm wrong. "
